Complete Chainmail Kit - 20 Weave Tutorial Book, 23,000+ Rings(Over 4 Pounds), Clasps, and Tools

I think overall Im glad I purchased this kit because I havent seen a lot of ways to get a bunch of different sizes to try. The tutorial book is fantastic--very clear, nice images, and I like that its spiral bound. I know the book is sold on its own and I would completely recommend it and rate it 5 stars. I dont know that I will be using the pliers that came with this at all. The handles feel really rough and this is the only place Ive seen recommend using two bent nose pliers. I dont think I like the feel of that. To be honest Im a bit surprised about the rave reviews on their jump rings. I am new to this hobby and have only bought rings from a couple of sources. But these are not quite as bright as the bright aluminum rings I got from somewhere else and they seem to be... shedding? a lot. Theres stuff all over my hands after spending a couple hours on a helm chain. That didnt happen with the other brand I was using. And finally, this is certainly just personal preference, but these jump rings are all the left-handed cut which is a minor annoyance to me. But as I said, there arent a lot of places that offer a variety of sizes to try out and the price is good for the amount you get. Because of that I would recommend this kit for people starting out, but I will probably not be back here for more rings in the future.

Well written instructions and clear photography. Easy to learn most basic weaves. Not enough to practice more than once or twice per weave, but its easy to buy the rings you want.

Great kit !! Hoops are good quality , and all come organize and easy to follow directions . I only made the bizantine so far from the kit . And did a couple necklaces designs using the hoops of the kit as well . Bought kit and also black hoops from same vendor . I cant wait to try other styles . Including a pic with what i have done so far with your hoops :D very happy and will reorder often ! :D

This is a great introduction to chain mail. The book is well written and easy to follow, and the price is great for the amount of rings you receive.

I do a lot of chain mail projects, ranging from cosplay to delicate jewelry. These rings were very well made. The intersection fits really well on the first try, and doesnt require a lot of manipulation to close gaps. Most rings had no gap. There were some rings that I had a hard time finding the connection to re-open them after Id set them. The edges were not so rough as to be problematic, and I am comfortable not soldering the joints. The finish is very shiny and durable. I havent come across any defective rings. The assortment is excellent for a wide variety of projects, and the instruction book is very well written and explained. The pliers I actually love. Ive spent ten times this on other pliers, and these pliers just fit my hand best. The packaging is even commendable. Great product and definitely worth it, especially for someone new to the craft for the best starter kit Ive seen.

I just received the package. When I opened it up I was really surprised at the amount of stuff packed inside the box. I even received two pliers for opening and closing the jump rings there is a little bag of fasteners to finish your project. Easy to follow directions and a handy little postcard with helpful info on it. It’s a very well thought out bundle. Well worth the price. Plus you can actually buy more jump ring’s from the same person.

Well-written, well depicted instructional booklet; comes with all utensils and supplies necessary. I highly recommend this kit! Some of the rings can can bent out of shape, but theyre aluminium which is a more pliable metal, so this is to be expected. Will definitely be purchasing from this company again!
