Component Cable for AV Output from Sony PSP to HDTV

Failed almost immediately. Doesnt maintain a steady signal. Dont bother.

it works great,it turns your psp that you can hardly see on the little screen into something wonderful when hooked up to a big screen.got here quickly.

this was hooked up to a 60 in sharp from psp worked great picture quality not so good but you can play it on the big screen makes the psp just a controller pretty cool :)

Works Well. Few things to remember. (or that I needed to do) 1) I needed to connect all 5 of the colored plugs to my TV for it to work with video and audio. Connecting the green, blue, red only gives you video. Connect the other red and white to get audio (connect both so you get audio from both channels...i.e., speakers) 2) Make sure you get a snug fit when you plug the other end into your PSP. It took me a few times b/c I was worried it would bend or break. It was plenty durable. Just ensure its a good fit. 3) To get the PSP to play on your TV: You have to be at the main home screen of the PSP. Then go to the far left menu (the settings menu). Scroll to Connected Display Settings. Hit the x button. A menu pops to the right. Hit x when Switch Video Output is selected. This will immediately switch the display to your TV. then you can look at your TV and enjoy. NOTE: The menu filled the whole TV screen. However, when I played games, it only filled essentially the middle half of the TV screen. This was not a problem though. You can try adjusting the display settings from the main PSP menu from 16:9 to 4:3. That may help but I didnt mess with it much b/c it was easy enough to see and play the games. Lastly, the only drawback is that the cord has to be attached to the PSP. And is not very long so you have to sit close to the TV. It becomes more of a problem if you are low on battery and also have to plug in the PSP. It can make it hard to play.

I basically got this like brand new .. And was eager to try it out on my TV and projector ... And the colors are just ALL wrong ... I did the settings all correctly and even checked which cables it was . The green and blue HAVE to both be in for the picture and one of their colors are off .. Blue looks green and red looks very purplish which is not worth the money considering you can now play on your psp
