Perfect to help with whisker stress

Up until I received these bowls, Ive been using the tiny ceramic kitten bowls to serve my kitten her food. While those held up when she was younger, they slide around more now. My kitten has also developed a jaw issue, which means she tends to toss around food accidentally and pushes around the bowl more. With this product, the area I feed her in is much more clean and the bowl doesnt move around at all!

I was looking for a new water and food bowl for my cat’s. I found these bowls and learned about Wisker fatigue. I had never heard of it before. I have a new kitten and a older cat, and my little one couldn’t seem to drink out of the bowl I had it was to high. That’s when I found these bowls and were recommended for fatigue. They are wider and have a lip around the top. There not very deep. The food doesn’t spill out nor the water. I can see a difference in the way they drink and eat now.

Food doesnt get licked off the plate onto the floor. Keeps area cleaner and is very easy for my older cats to eat from.

Most of my cat are lickers and not chompers. They keep licking and eventually the food ends up on the floor. This bowl prevents most of the food from spilling over, however, it is not perfect...and I did not expect it to be. The ONE downside is that the food gets stuck under the rim so, if you dont remove the bowl right away (what cat eats all at once?), you will need to soak the bowl before washing. Other than that, the weight of the bowl is nice to keep the bowl from moving and it is wide enough to prevent whisker fatigue.

These are great little bowls for our kitty! They are sturdy and easy to clean. They wash really well on the top rack. She seems to like using them. My only complaint is with the whisker fatigue design being a bit wider than standard, it’s harder to eye ball how much we feed or food she has eaten. It’s not huge issue though and we’d still buy them again!

Updated: Kitten is now 16 months old and these are the only bowls she likes. Turns out she did not have whisker fatigue but severe gingivitis (feral kitten problems). Either way, these are her preferred bowls. I dont have any food spills with them. They can be delicate. I lost control drying one and broke it in a two inch drop from my hands to the sink edge. She baulked at the provided bowls with the automatic feeder but accepted the feeder for use when I used these bowls, her favorites. Original: I have a 6 month old kitten (about 6 pounds for size reference) who has already had trouble with whisker fatigue. These bowls were delivered yesterday and Im pleased with them. The bowls are wide and shallow with an edge lip to keep food from slipping out. The kitten is already showing signs of less reluctance for this bowl and isnt dragging her food onto her placemat to eat, as has been her custom. Im hoping this is a long term solution for her. I can see she has plenty of room to eat without her whiskers touching the bowl. The bowls seem sturdy, are a good weight to stay in place, are easy to wash, and nest together for stacking.

These are overall great, but not anti-slip as advertised. The entire base is ceramic.
