> 3 dayAs lovely as floral and other type print fabrics are, I prefer blender fabrics combined with background fabric and low volume prints for quilting. I find myself ordering Connecting Threads blender fabrics over and over in 5” squares, 10” squares, 2.5” strips, and fat quarter bundles. I especially love the soft muted colors and pattern of the faux linen morning skies line. Hopefully, it will be made available in a fat quarter bundle soon. The quality and affordable price make Connecting Threads blender fabrics a staple in my fabric stash. Thank you Connecting Threads!

> 3 dayI have been adding some Japanese style prints to my stash. They are a lot of red, blue, and other primary colors with gold highlights. When my husband saw them he told me I needed to get solid fabric to use when setting them. I hate using solids, but when I saw this Jelly Roll with a tonal background in multiple colors and each of them having random gold highlights, I knew I had my solids. I am very pleased to see what is in this jelly roll. The colors go well with my other fabrics that I just got along with some more that will be here in two weeks. I generally get most of my fabric at my thrift store, given to me by those who are quitting sewing, yard sales, etc. In other words, sources for discounted fabric. So for me to lay down the money to get all this fabric over the last couple weeks means I seriously wanted this fabric! It is beautiful and I am so glad I got it. Now to decide what kind of quilt I want to make with all of this fabric.
