> 24 hourI am a kindergarten teacher and these are great for learning beginning and ending sounds. They also help with substitution of sounds. They are sturdy. The cards are heavy duty. The tiles are hard wood.

> 24 hourBoth my girls are dyslexic. The six-year-old is learning to read and write but always gets her bs and ds, ps and qs mixed up. This was actually really good for her to reference because the card has both the picture on one side and then the spelling on the other, so she can make sure she has the letters set up properly. The three-year-old played with them as well, mostly just matching up letters and then saying what the picture was, but she was thrilled that she was reading the word. The cards are fairly sturdy. Think thick index card weight. The colors and pictures are great and really catch the kids eyes and keep their attention. The spelling on the back of the card is color coded to match the letter blocks, so all the vowels are red and the consonants are blue. This made it super simple for them to build words. The consonant blocks are about the size of a quarter so just watch out if you have a little one who likes to eat things.

> 24 hourThe letter cards were smaller than I expected, but it is super nice that they all store in a handy bag that was included

> 24 hourMy son is almost three and can identify all the capital and lowercase letters. He knows the sounds they make. This seemed a logical next step and it has been great. You can use these in many ways. “What is this word”, “how would you make this ___ instead of ____. “You make a word and I’ll read it” etc… These opened up his awareness of letters to words and has him trying to sound out almost everything he sees now. The only negative I can say is the box is hard to put back together. We will be getting a different box for easier storage.

> 24 hourThis is a wonderful learning activity. There are several ways to use the tiles and words for matching. I used this as a reinforcing exercise in between two reading lessons and the students found it fun and engaging. I would have liked to have some sort of wooden stand to set the word cards on but I just propped them up against the other cards. The set comes with a draw string bag that holds all of the parts.

> 24 hourThis was a great resource to help children learn the CVC pattern. The cards are color coded by the vowel sound. Also the cards help children to check if they made the correct word. This resource is definitely worth the money.
