In order to avoid them from needing to be cleaned a lot, I only use it at night and completely empty out the water from the base and the part that holds the water during the day. I leave it open to dry. This seems to solve any build up.

It kept my kid awake at night. Quality is great though, and I would still recommend it if the light thing is not an issue for people!

> 3 dayEasy to refill and can last on high all night (~8+ hours.) Very quiet, but the on light could bother some if they need their room pitch black at night.. But its faint enough that it could probably be covered easily. Alternatively, the rainbow lights are nice for people who enjoy sleeping with lights. Only downside is its a bit tricky to clean due to its shape.

How do I clean my humidifier?
- Unplug and disassemble your humidifier.
- Fill the tank with water as you normally would, but add 2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar, too. Let this mixture sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
- Empty the humidifier, and use cleaning brush and cloth to clean any areas with extra build-up.
- Rinse all the parts and let them air dry before its next use.
