As others have reported, the maximum fill volume of 2 1/2 L is not at all true, at least for the unit I purchased. You need to fill it to about half of that capacity, maybe less, or it will not work. The good news is that even running it at 25% capacity, there will still be water in the tank after a night on full blast. Also important: when you FIRST use the humidifier, it doesn’t produce a whole lot of mist; you need to let it run for several hours before it starts to billow; not sure why but that was definitely the case for us. I am hearing that it can be pretty sensitive to cleanings, as in they fail to work afterwards, so keep that in mind as well. I think for the price it’s good hand that ultimately did the job so I don’t plan on returning it.

I am very pleased with this humidifier. It works well and the size is perfect! It is not messy and the mist adjustment is nice.

Pretty easy to clean which is a big plus. Doesn’t make much condensation on surfaces and does the job for a bedroom.

Humidifier worked great until 2 weeks ago and is now broken. After running it for 1-2 weeks, I noticed it was getting gross. I took it apart and cleaned each piece and put it back together. Every time after the first clean, I would turn it on and the motor would make lots of noise for about a minute. Kind of annoying, but could deal with it. Another week or two go by again and I notice it needs to be cleaned again so I again take it apart and clean it. Not that motor noise goes on for over 2 minutes she. I turn it on and it took over 10 hours to spit out the 2.5 liters when in the past it would take under 6ish hours. I am not impressed by this durability and would not recommend to someone who would use this more than a large oil diffuser.

I like the ease of operation. It is easy to fill from the top and it puts out a lot of steam. The only problem I have is that it leaks on the bottom in the front when I am filling it. Other than that it seems to be okay. The leaking doesnt last long but my cat doesnt like it because it leaks on his bed. I have to move it when I am filling it.

I use this for my plants so it’s most often constantly going. I only use filtered water from the fridge and this thing STINKS. After a few days use it smells like stinky, stagnant water. Not sure if this is all humidifiers but gross..
