> 24 hourLike: tiny and perfect for lighting my 12 inch angel decorations. Also good for small decor that is enhanced by lighting. I use these for small garlands on tables (under 6 ft length requires 2). A 24 inch wreath requires 2 as well. Lovely in clear vases. Caveats: they do not supply a great deal of light. Also the copper wire can be fiddly to twist and you don’t want to be unwinding it when you put the item away for the season. Biggest caveat is there is no timer. So switching the tiny lever on and off is time consuming if you have many ( I have 7). Overall, these are an economical way to emphasize small bits of holiday decor.

> 24 hourI got these to decorate my cabin for a summer camp and my campers absolutely loved them! They are easy to use but battery runs out after a couple weeks of off/on use.

> 24 hourThese are so perfect for decorating my place. They easily fit into bottles, weave into garland, fit into my flower baskets… they are so fun. And there are 6 of them! They are annoying to switch batteries as there are an extra set of screws, but that’s okay.

> 24 hourThe fairy lights were a nice touch to some of the table centerpieces I made for my nieces wedding shower. They were easy to use and light weight. Thank you.

> 24 hourIts a bit difficult to find fairy lights in short strands around where I am. I had been looking to dress up the centerpieces for my wedding and provide a bit of light. These guys, I think, will do a perfect job of it. Bright, easy to handle, and a small battery pack provide just the right bit of ambiance without being too overwhelming. I wish I could have found something like this with a remote control option so that I dont have to remember to turn them all on before the reception, but eh, there are worse things in life than needing to remember to flip a switch XD

> 24 hourThe review below was written earlier along with a 3 star review that started with, Meh. Now at the end of the season, I have an improved opinion of these little lights. I have not been contacted by anyone or pressured into changing my rating; actually, when someone does that, I always come back and remove a star, then contact the fraud department. But in this case, I have just changed my mind about them. Initially I wanted to use these lights outdoors; I did use one string outside, and it lasted just as long as the indoor light strings did. A lot of battery-run copper lights go kerflooey when exposed to Seattles rain, but these did not. Score one. Then, once I realized how short these strings are, I began looking for places to use them. We have a dog that chews almost anything and two small grandchildren, so that limited my choices. Even so, I found some places I have never put lights before that added cheer and whimsy. (See pictures.) I threaded one through the mesh of the pan rack in the kitchen; I put another on the stair railing. Im disabled and was pleased to discover that the lights fit exactly once around the frame of the chair on my stairlift, and didnt interfere with the mechanism. And since they are so short, theyre not nearly as much work to remove at the seasons end as the longer strings I bought from other vendors. I didnt use them any of the places I had planned. The length isnt great enough for any kind of formal lighting display. But they added brightness to the season, and so now I think its all about how creative and flexible the user is in implementing them. My rating increased from 3 stars to 4. This is my third Christmas experimenting with copper wired Christmas lights run by batteries. Ive had mixed success, primarily because wet batteries will ruin the lights, and although the lights themselves are water proof, the battery box is attached to the lights. I had hoped to be able to put my lights on the trellises and vines in my front yard, which would provide a beautiful display that we could see out of our front window, but Seattle is having the wettest December in ten years, and it is obviously a fools errand to try to hang these lights out in the weather. However, in this case its not a big loss because these are dinky little light strings that wouldnt do much good as landscaping lights. You could wrap one around your porch light, I suppose, or do what I did here and wrap it around a potted plant that is partially protected by a covered porch. We are unlikely to have magazine photographers swarming our house to document the beauty of our light show, but it does add a spot of cheer. There are six little strings in the box and I scored them on sale at about nine bucks, so its not a huge investment. I have never seen this design before and it took me a hot minute to figure it out. I had a full box of Amazon batteries but couldnt see where the battery box is. Finally I realized that the tiny thumb-sized tab on the end is indeed the battery box. I have no clue what sort of battery fits here, but I can live with that because I have no intention of ever replacing the batteries. When these little hummers go dead, theyre going in the trash. This is admittedly less than ideal in terms of the environment; in my defense, I didnt realize how odd the design was until I got them. So I will use them in odd spots around the house, but I doubt I will order them again. (Revised review: at this price, I just might buy them again, actually.)

> 24 hourOne set came in the box while it was on, so it was dead.

> 24 hourBright, warm, cheerful string of lights. Six feet is perfect for a mantle. My only disappointment was that the first string I used dimmed after a couple of weeks of running them about 6 hours a day. To change the two 2032 button batteries you need a tiny Phillips jeweler’s screwdriver. It’s not hard, but not everyone has a tiny screwdriver. I would purchase again. I like the simple on/off switch rather than a remote. Recommend these.
