Greater than one weekI used this to swaddle my newborn in the hospital. It is so soft and super big! I just wish it was more gray like the picture showed. It’s almost got a green tinge to it.

Greater than one weekSo this swaddle blanket is big, soft, stretchy, and gorgeous just like all the other CP blankets. This specific color is a bit of a mess though. Obviously you want to wash any fabric before baby comes but this sucker is so full of deep red dye that it takes a million washes to get out. If you dont wash it thoroughly enough it will leave dye on everything it touches. I had washed this darn blanket like 5 times and Im praying thats enough. It doesnt look like the actual blanket has lightened much after washing it so thats good, but I do really wish Copper Pearl would have taken care of this issue prior to shipping it out to consumers. With how expensive these blankets are you shouldnt have to run the risk of getting dye everywhere. Year later update: after those 5 or so washes this blanket was a dream! The color never faded and never stained anything I washed it with aftetwards.

> 3 dayI absolutely loves these Swaddles. I keep buying them, not because they wear out, but because the are so soft and beautiful. After washing they are still just as before and are very easy to use on baby.

> 3 dayThis swaddle is amazing. Extremely stretchy so it’s easy to wrap around your baby and keep their arms in. Highly recommend. Million times better than muslin blankets.

> 3 dayWe love these so much we have three! One problem: The ruby color bleeds in the wash and stains everything pink, even after multiple washes. Make sure to wash it separately or at least not with light colors!

> 3 day(Dark red) Wash separately or with like colors if you do not want absolutely everything to be pink! I loved the color but I still wash my baby’s clothes with special detergent so it doesn’t really add up to a large enough load to separate colors. Super stretchy and crazy soft but I would not buy this color because I now fear washing it with anything in case it still has some color left to lift.

> 3 dayI cant say enough good things about these swaddle blankets! I received one a couple years ago at the birth of my daughter, have gifted some to friends, and just purchased a new one for my newborn son. They are SO soft and stretchy--the perfect combination to swaddle a baby tightly. This blue one that I just bought is a gorgeous color, too. I HIGHLY recommend this blanket for any new parent and plan to continue giving them as gifts in the future.

> 3 dayThis is a great swaddle to wrap up my newborn. It’s a little large because he is a preemie, but folds easily and provides a snug wrap for him. It’s softness and stretch make it easy for my husband to swaddle him too.

> 3 day*UPDATED April 24, 2019* I recently washed this in a load that had a few burp cloths either with some little white stripes or the inside of the cloths were white. True enough, the dye bled into them and now the areas that were white are now light pink. Luckily, they were old burp cloths but still—I defended this blanket because the color is so pretty but why why why does it bleed when my other swaddles don’t? It’s rather disappointing for something that’s a bit pricey. - - - I love maroon/burgundy and I was really excited to see this color on a swaddle—more specifically a Copper Pearl swaddle. However, I was hesitant since many reviews mentioned how the color bleeds and stains other items in your laundry. Luckily, I haven’t had that issue. I’ve washed with similar/dark colors and no signs of bleeding are seen.
