Corel WordPerfect Office Professional 2021 | Office Suite of Word Processor, Spreadsheets, Presentation & Database Management Software [PC Disc]

WordPerfect was/is the best word processing program EVER! So glad to have it back again.

Many years ago Word Perfect ran head to head as a strong equal competitor for MS Word. Word rapidly took over the market by offering bundling deals that ultimately produced the soon to be king, Microsoft Office, and WordPerfect was no longer a popular standard by the mid-1990s. WordPerfect Corporation was sold to Novell in 1994, which then sold the product to Corel in 1996. Back in the 1990s I published a special interest history magazine with full four color separation using no other software than Word Perfect. Like so many others I eventually went with the MS Office trend to be on board with main stream America. But after not updating my Word Perfect version for many years I recently found myself wanting to revisit the old work horse software and so I purchased the 2021 version. As always in the past, the software does not disappoint. I believe it is the most underrated software of the present day. I won’t take the time or space to give detail but Word Perfect remains to be feature rich and far more than MS Word. There is nothing in the world of word processing and publishing that can’t be accomplished with high level professional accuracy in Word Perfect 2021. I am glad that Corel has continued to support and advance this old friend. Better than MS Word when truly compared feature for feature.

The installation process is riddled with errors in programming that does not allow all of the extra components other that Corel WordPerfect Office to install. Technical Support is a joke and offers no real tangible help to fix the obvious programming issues. I have used the Corel WordPerfect suite for years and each new version installed seamlessly except this one. Microsoft Office installs PERFECTLY and SEAMLESSLY without any programming conventions that causes errors. The lack of real qualified and competent technical support personnel has soured my opinion of purchasing any additional upgrades of this software. The technical support staff have not resolved the technical programming issues of the software installation as of the writing of this. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this suite anymore until they fix the programming coding conventions and hire competent technical support technicians. If you want software office suite that installs without errors and all the components install, stick with Microsoft Office 365.

Excellent product does what I need it to do.

Excellent software far superior to MS Office. You still get discs with this software and downloadable patches unlike MS Officeand it is not subscription based like MS Office365. Highly Recommended.
