CorelCAD 2021 Education Edition | CAD Software| 2D Drafting, 3D Design & 3D Printing [PC/Mac Disc] [Old Version]

Despite the new release date, the core software is decades old and really needs a complete overhaul. It will do whatever you need it to do but the interface is not intuitive or anywhere close to standard whatever that means in the CAD world. On the VERY plus side, it doesnt need the Internet to work - once you register it you can pull the network cable out and it still functions.

I got this product to help with 3d printing and design. I wanted a cheaper autodesk since i had previous experience with that. Went with this product and and went install it online. The code they gave me doesnt work. I tried typing it every different way to get it to work and it just says the code is invalid. Waste of 50 dollars that i wont see or get back.

Software was easy to load. After some hunt and peck I was able to draw what I wanted. But there must be a limit to how much memory you can use or something. After getting so far on my drawing I was suddenly un able to save anymore of the drawing. Software told me that my drawing was copywritten and I was not able to modify of save any changes I did from that point forward. Such a let down............

I bought this CAD system to teach my children how to operate a CAD and then a CNC machine to build Robots.

There is a learning curve but this very economical program is the closest to the AutoCAD that I spent 20 years teaching. While most are doing solid modeling some of us old timers still prefer to do the 2D first and grow it into 3D. This lets you do it!

27 digit product key does not work with this product eventhough the package was new unopened. And corel has not been any help in getting it registered so now I am out of the cash I spent for it and it looks like it cannot be returned for a new one. NOT PLEASED AT ALL.
