CorelDRAW Essentials 2021 | Graphics Design Software for Occasional Users | Illustration, Layout, and Photo Editing [PC Disc]

I bought this specifically because photo editing was listed in the description. Corel Photo Paint is the companion product that is specifically for that, so I expected to get THAT. Didnt. Corel says its not part of the product. I dont need Corel Draw Essentials. I already have a previous version of it. The photo editing part of the product description is deceptive. So, Im going to have to return the product, reluctantly.

The install of this item was not good. I had to contact Corel support and waste 10 days to get the CD uninstalled and download from their website, backup my files and system, and edit the registry and so on.

This program doesn’t have the basics tools, that allowed you to draw. This version is useless, even for basics projects.

Ive been trying to download since 6:30am Saturday morning. Its now Tuesday afternoon and STILL unable to complete installation. The program itself is wonderful. Unfortunately, my old laptop died and my older version of Corel was no longer available, requiring me to purchase a new version. I have over 5 years of data that Im unable to access because theyre completely unhelpful. Beyond frustrated!

Not easy for a beginner to just pick up and learn my be a great program I just bought it to convert to files to svg images so I could carve them on my cnc but its quite complicated program for what I needed so a waste of money for me

I upgrades from an older version if corel. The essential version is bare essentials. It limits the type of files you can import and export. Also you cant move seamlessly between draw and paint. You must save the file in one then reopen or import to the other. Paint and draw are two completely separate programs.

I should have read the reviews but I trusted Corel after purchasing two previous home/ student versions. This thing has only the freehand line option and only one line editing tool. Don’t waste your money on it!

If you are a CorelDraw user you will not like this trimmed down version.

For the price, I expected so much more. I returned it.

I have been using CorelDraw since the mid 90s. This is a stripped down version of the professional version, however, it does the trick. Since I am retired, it works very well. I used it to create a calendar and it came out great. Since you cannot return this, I advise you to understand what you are buying. Enjoy!
