Corelle Livingware 1-quart Glass Serving Bowl, Winter Frost White, Pack of 4

Corelle bowls are nearly indestructable. Ive had the same set of Corelle dishes for over 20 years. All of them have been dropped at one point or another and have survived. I liked these bowls so much that I decided to order a second set. These are both microwave and dishwasher safe. A great investment to pass on to the next generation.

Corelle is a vitrified ceramic material, that is, it is essentially glass. It is as easy to clean as glassware, but is more durable. If you dont bang it against another dense material (such as a granite countertop) it will last forever.

Versatile for sides and great for pasta dishes.

I bought the Winter Frost White pattern serving-bowls in multiple sizes, then I bought the place settings. My mother has little strength and needed serving-ware & plates that she could lift without pain. I just wanted something pretty that would LAST from counter-top, refrigerator, freezer and to microwave. Bought the matching white lids for the bowls too and now they are storage options too. This may be the last set of serving ware and dishes we ever need. The Winter Frost White pattern goes with everything and every occasion and never chips or cracks if Mom drops something. Bye-bye plastic-ware, stoneware and worry about wear and tear - we are a Corelle household now.

Exactly what we wanted.

I grew up with Corelle and appreciate the lightness, thinness, easy to clean, and durability. But when they rarely do break, they shatter, all the glass slivers can be challenging to find and remove.
