> 3 daywere dealing with extreme rain and cold here in CA so i bought two for my cockatiels to hopefully keep them warm. Noticed they prefer using it during bed time. One bird def loves it more than the other (the other prefers a fluffy pillow like bed i have for them) and loves cuddling next to it at night. Hope it provides them some extea warmth!

> 3 dayMy pineapple conure loves cuddling up to the little hood at night, when I can’t cuddle her because it’s too dangerous to sleep together. I was worried about her chewing on it, but she only tasted it and determined she didn’t like it. She has hard veggies and fruits and toys to chew on in her cage, so those definitely beat the competition.

Greater than one weekIm very careful about introducing things to birds so I kinda interacted with it in front of him a little bit when he was out of the cage and watching me. Thats easy cause its so soft!!! Then I hung it from the side of his cage on the outside until I saw that he was interested in being near it and now hes sitting right up next to it. No doubt hell be snuggling it in no time same as he snuggles the back of my neck. I do think hes gonna tear some holes in it if he feels so inclined but of course that happens with every bird who chews so it cant be helped. Ill just buy him another one! :D Recommend!

> 3 dayI liked this idea a lot and thought it would be a great idea for my aging 45 year old parrot. Were not really able to cover the cage at night, and I wanted him to have a warm place to snuggle up. Because hes older he leans over and lays his head on his food dish or part of the perch to sleep at night. sometimes he loses his grip and falls off the perch. I thought this would make him more comfortable. He doesnt take quickly to anything these days even his new toys, so it was no surprise that he wouldnt even enter the cage at night when we first put this in his cage. Instead he chose to sleep on top the cage. Eventually we decided to just put him into the cage and close the door. Its been a couple of weeks now and he is using the hoodie blanket and seems to be liking it which makes us very happy. Ill try to add a photo of him using the blanket as soon as I can get one.
