Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case - Black

Hard-drive bay is poorly designed annd only supports 2 disks. It is very difficult to get into, so you will have to remove it completely any time you want to add a drive. It should have been designed 90 degrees the other way (see Carbide 200R) so you can access the screws from the sides. The side screws will not go into the plastic bay properly, and HDs wiggle when pressed.

In short. Very nice good value and easy to work with installing components.

First time using Corsair again to build a commissioned system in after being a fan of their long-EOLd 500R series. Solid panel 4000D (and its variations) were not considered in build. Overall a good quality, easy case to build in. HDD trays are simple plastic, held in with tabs. Bottom mounted HDD cage is movable via thumb screw to various positions. Cable routing is sufficient with a normal ATX style build. Bottom power supply shroud that is full length front to back is a bit cumbersome in size but didnt restrict mounting an EVGA 650w G3 Gold PSU in it.

The tempered glass side panel broke from setting the case down onto the floor. The design of the panel is not very good. No rubber edge protection at all and can easily shatter from a light tap. And corsair has no eta for making this case anymore.

I bought this case for 70 USD and theres nothing that beats it at that price point.

This was listed as new but it was clearly opened and handled beforehand. The screw mounts had scuffs on them. The case had been opened and the protective film had been removed. There was a fist-sized chunk ripped out of one of the styrofoam packaging chunks. The motherboard screws and zipties that come with these new cases was also missing.

Great case. It has great ventilation and flow, lots of room but not much(not cramped looking), great wire routing. Love the flat black color makes things inside POP.

Upgraded fro, a Fractal Meshify C. Did not think it could be much better, but it did.

それまで使っていたPCのケースが粗悪だったのか、PCIスロット部分のネジ穴のネジ切りが不完全だったらしく、ネジが締まらなくなってしまい、このまま使えばグラボの故障の原因となると判断し交換することに。
