Good product, I will enjoy the lifetime warranty... But I think I ordered a newer set as this model is over 3 years old and designed for sandy/ivy bridge support... These modules work with the 4th gen Haswell, but I get error 51 which gigabyte rep says this is perfectly fine as long as the board boots with no problems.

Upgraded to 2 8GB sticks and has made my computer super fast. Also check out an SSD for increased computer speed.

Lets face it, RAM is pretty much a commodity these days. I generally stick with Corsair when I have a choice, and for a reason: I never have problems with them. That proved true in this case too; the new RAM has spent several months in my new system (actually two separate systems; see my Intel Z77GA-70K review) with no problems.

they deceptively list the clock speed as higher than default. maybe I missed something but the title says 1600 not 1600 after you over clock it and manipulate voltages.

Let put it simple - right now there is a trend to install huge heat dissipator in a memory bank. It seems that the marketing wants to create a cool look, but in fact thats a bad decision because most of the time they will create problems when you try to install the cpu cooler. And I want the best cooling solution to my CPU, not to my memory.

Ive built many computers, but not like the best Im working on now. This will be the 1st with 16gigs of ram. So far posting shows stable benchmarks. I7 proc is flying. Great bang for my bucks!!!!

low profile, decent timings, looks great, corsair name backing it up. a good purchase IMO. I tinkered it up the 1866 with a cas of 9, but that will vary for consumers. it runs great and it runs fast and thats all ram needs to do. this ram will fit with any aftermarket cpu cooler as well.

Fast, stable RAM from Corsair. What more could you ask for? Plus the low profile heat sinks are really nice when you have clearance issues with large CPU coolers!
