I dont have another soft mat mouse pad to compare the Corsair to, but I imagine theyre all about the same. Ive always used SteelSeries 4D hard surface mouse pads and ended up with this one for free. I tried it out for a day and havent touched the SteelSeries since and dont plan to go back to it. Great mouse pad with superb tracking and glide. Its also quite comfortable with zero friction.

I use this on a sectional arm rest. Very comfortable and yet the mouse registers perfectly. Material feels resilient and quality is impeccable.

The fray cloth mouse pad is really good and looks awesome! It works great with my logitech G703 gaming mouse in precision games aiming down targets in FPS games like Rainbow 6 siege, pub g, etc... Also it works good in my photo editing and video editing with nice smooth mouse control, adequate smoothness yet not too slippery!

Perfect size for me and feels and performs great. Measure your space and pick the right one for you, its a steal for this price. May slide a bit if you really bear down on it, not a huge deal breaker and I doubt it affects gaming performance for most people.
