As much as braided cables are super cool, these cables have parts near the end that make it a real pain to fit them into your case. I was upgrading my psu to this one, and it may be my fault somehow, but since I’ve switched, my computer no longer boots to windows.

Dead out of the box and past the return period. 200 dollars down the drain. Junk.

Since the covid 19 pandemic power supply prices have been crazy high. So now when possible one buys only the number of watts needed in a power supply. Yet one never wants to sacrifice quality on the alter of excess frugality. Corsair generally makes quality computer equipment and even cheaper bronze level its power supplies are better than the no name un-certified power supplies.

Well, while the power supply is just good as you would expect, I was surprised how bad is smelled when I unboxed it. While being just opened a few days later the smell was gone. Then I have replaced another power supply with this one and turned it on... Damn, I thought I just burned the whole motherboard and its components. Well, it happened to be just the smell coming out of the power supply. It is the end of a second day while it is under 500w load and it still smells, not as strong... but... Ive got a super strong headache a few hours later after I turned it on. 800mg ibuprofen helped a bit, however, I still have it second day later... so the machine works in the garage now gassing off.

Enough power to ..... power anything you need in your PC. Modular to keep down clutter in PC and help with cable management.

Love the modular design. The labels for the connectors could be more detailed in the manual regarding the usage and purpose. It was obvious for an experienced builder but newbies could use a little more clarification.

It runs silent and works just as expected.

Awesome replacement PSU. Had to use the supplied cables.
