Got the RM650x to power an i5 CPU on an MSI MPG Z490 board.

Easy to install, makes no noise whatsoever under load, and is very energy efficient.

It’s a power supply, it’s from Corsair so you know it’s going to last a while and comes with a 10 year warranty, sure it’s expensive but power supplies are not a thing you should cheap out on.

This is a quality PSU, and you dont want to cheap out on a PSU. The only complaint I have is that its big compared to other offerings, but its likely because it needs the extra space for the modular cables. Id do some measurements before buying if you have an matx case.

I am going to replace the cables it came with because they are bigger than they need to be. Still a great power supply thought.

this power supply cost me $120 it worked fine for about 6 months. then all of a sudden it just died and kept tripping every time I try to turn on my pc. so I called about the warranty and corsair made me a support ticket. In the email I got 3 days later, it said I need to take the power supply and all the cables out of my unit which will take hours the way I have it cable managed and uppon asking why they couldnt just give me a new unit without cables I got no response. So thats fine it just annoying the part that really gets me is that I have to pay to get a box and ship it back to corsair. And they wont even give UPS the package until 3 to 5 business days after receiving the defective unit. This was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had from corsair.

No complaints here. Solid product, everything it’s advertised as. Only complaint is it could be a little shorter, and not have those extra 6 pin things for my gpu, but some people need those so they can’t get rid of em. Overall good product, you should buy!!
