> 3 dayI got RM750X for my new desktop, with Core i9-10900K. Although I dont use a graphics card, the 10-core (20 with hyper threading) 5Ghz CPU could use a lot of power, so I got a probably much bigger PSU than I need, just in case. Installation was a breeze, the PSU fit well with NZXT H71i case. Its nice that this PSU is completely modular. So far the PSU has been so quiet I cannot tell the fan is moving (it is), and I havent experienced any power issue with the rig. I am happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayI’ll always buy Corsair or Evga psus. If you buy Corsair get the rmx models! Rule of thumb always buy a larger psu than the minimum wattage recommended. Ex: recommend minimum 750 buy an 850 or more just to allow for future upgrades!

> 3 dayAs much as braided cables are super cool, these cables have parts near the end that make it a real pain to fit them into your case. I was upgrading my psu to this one, and it may be my fault somehow, but since I’ve switched, my computer no longer boots to windows.

> 3 dayWhen it comes to power supplies, Id rather lean on the safe and quality side than buy mid to low grade PS.
