The unit will shut down the main power to the motherboard randomly. May be the main 12v cable connection.

I just built my 1st pc with this power supply and i would recommend 1000%!!

I like the look and wires of the connectors provided. When power consumption is low, the power supply unit is almost undetectable. But when you do start to crank up power, this unit gets real loud. I wear ear cupped headphones and can still hear it loud and clear. I’m unsure if I have a faulty unit or if that’s just the way it is, but it gets really loud. I’ve owned Corsair power supplies before, and have never experienced this type of noise from a power supply.

Worked for one day. When I went to boot up again, no lights came on, but the PSU was making a very quiet repetitive chirping sound. I tried disconnecting everything from it, but the sound was the only sign of life. I upgraded to the 850 and its doing fine. Must have been a dud.

Right now it is feeding a R7 2700x and a Rx 590 and is working flawlessly.

Im new to PC gaming, but had a friend build a PC for me. I havent had any issues with the PSU yet, it seems to work quite well.

This looks sharp and performs well while being very quiet. Cable management on this PSU is solid. I liked it enough that I bought a black version for another build but I have to admit the white is pretty nice.

The first one was originally doa. The second one i got through warranty worked like a charm. Use that info for what you will.
