Solid PSU very quiet and its completely silent when under drawing under half load I think cause the fan doesnt even spin til it reaches a certain load. Wish the cables were better tho

I had to order a weaker power supply when I built my current rig 3-1/2 years ago, and ended up with a NON-modular 450 due to crypto-mining shortages, and trade embargoes. I knew it was right at the limit of being able to run the rig, but had no choice. It expired over the weekend. This one was a BREEZE to install, and being modular, I will never have to deal with undoing all the wiring again. It is also much quieter. The fan in the other one was noisy and ran constantly. This returned my rig to being completely silent.

I have used this for about a week now and it just beats my old Seasonic Focus out of the park (by old I mean a month old until it sparked and died from moving the psu power cord a few cm while plugged in) but this is so quiet and has no whirring noise or coil whine which is fantastic. The power cord is nice and sturdy and sits nice and snug inside outlets which is perfect!

Nice cables, just a little stiff, but not a problem in ATX mid tower.

Was so excited to build my new pc. Read about how important it is to get a quality psu so I thought I chose the best. However unfortunately it wasn’t the best. I plugged everything in and counted down for the first time turn on and when I hit the power nothing happened. Psu was completely dead. Now I have to wait to get a new psu to see if anything else died or if the psu was just faulty. Fingers crossed nothing happened. Buy another psu

installed on my $2000 gaming pc and as soon as i powered it up i heard a popping noise and smelled that burnt electronics smell. it also fried my 4tb hard drive, fried almost every single rgb light in all 7 of my fans, and now my 2070 super founders edition graphics card doesnt work properly! this is a corsair power supply! it should be one of the most trusted names in pc gaming! never again will i purchase ANY corsair products, no matter how non-mission critical a part it is!

This power supply is nice and quiet fit my case well and works like it should. It’s nice to add only the cables you actually need and makes things tidy for better airflow.
