One of the ram was faulty and has some weird yellow paint on the tip of it. Everyone who checked it out were surprised when I told them I had bought it new. Maybe I had bad luck who knows but Im going to stay away from corsair for ram for the time being

The install took a couple minutes. Open case, unlock and pull out old RAM, plug these two in. Worked immediately and love the upgrade to my PC.

I love Corsair ram cause it just works. Pop it in turn on the PC and voila ! 16 gig of hardcore ram goodness.

First off the sticks are a bit tall and when I tried to fit the Phanteks PH-TC14PE cooler in, the clearance was too low. I ordered knowing that I could mod the cooler fins to fit any sized DRAM so this wasnt an issue but this is a warning for those with large coolers.

Im an avid gamer, I enjoy all Bliz games and GW2 MMOs. And I dont want any reason for my PC to slow down at all. So I wanted to make as much data transfer room as possible. So I chose the Corsair Vengeance 16GB cards. I now feel confident that I have the flexibility that I need to expand if I desire. Even if it may be too much memory. It doesnt matter. I got the headroom for my PC - Im happy with the memory.

Put this in a mini server and it works great. Its pretty popular memory so Id expect as much isnt the best RAM but a good product nonetheless. The price is right too!

This is a limitation of a 32-bit operating system. In Windows, the Windows memory manager is limited to a 4 GB physical address space. Most of that address space is filled with RAM, but not all of it. Memory-mapped devices (such as your video card) will use some of that physical address space, as will the BIOS ROMs. After all the non-memory devices have had their say, there will be less than 4GB of address space available for RAM below the 4GB physical address boundary. MacOS X Tiger and Leopard are both 64-bit operating systems and will not experience this problem. Neither will 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista or Windows 7.
