I mean, this is old tech (the packaging I received it in gave a copyright year 2011-2012), but also necessary to upgrade old tech, in this case a 2014 iMac with 1x8GB 1333MHz to a 2x8GB 1600MHz. A few weeks in, still working well.

The Acer Aspire One 756 is a fantastic buy as a netbook that does far more than the ChromeBook/Mac Air type computers that rely on cloud function. But most Acer 756 computers come with only 2 gig of Ram which is really inadequate to run Win 7 64-bit Home Premium. The solution is to buy and install this excellent ram. The Acer can use 2 separate 4 gig ram units, which is what you get in the Corsair Vengence DDR3 laptop PC3 12800 pack for laptops.Buy this pack, remove the back of the Acer and just click the units in place. The only tool needed is a small phillips screwdriver. I looked a video up on Youtube that showed how to do this and it took 5 minutes even though I had never before opened a computer. Do note, the Acers come with different back covers so you might need to remove yours differently than in the videos.After adding the 2 new Ram boards ,I went from routinely running at 90%+ of ram use by my desktop meter to 25%, and everything is faster. This Ram upgrade is definitely worth it.

No complaint against the product but the delivery service that took almost 1 month thats disappointing. :)
