I had read mixed reports of whether the Asus K55a laptop supported 16GB RAM, but this RAM works perfectly in the system. I ran several applications and heavy resource games and had no troubles whatsoever with the memory. Window 8.1 now runs with only around 1.5-2.5GB RAM used out of the 16GB, including Intel 4000 graphics shared memory when idle.
