06-06-2025Was easy to install this RAM in my MacBook Pro 15-inch early 2011 model. It only had 4 GB of RAM before and was using paging to keep up. Even though I already had an SSD drive, paging is not RAM. Installing this extra RAM has made the boot faster and the general start up and running of the laptop quicker. Being an old laptop, that makes a big difference and Ill be able to keep it and use it for a few more years (and maybe beyond).

> 3 dayThis ram, so far, is very good. However it does not play well with Apples existing ram. I bought this 32Gb of ram to add on to Apples 8Gb, for a total of 40Gb of ram. But once placed into the iMac, the computer refused to power up. No matter what configuration I tried nothing. So, I guess I will just settle with the 32Gb.
