I tried this ram on its own and it works great. the only problem was that I was hoping to use it together with another 16GB set I have of the same-ish model but its a year older and they didnt seem to play nice together.

Bought this and eventually replaced it. Make sure your motherboard supports higher clock speeds! I bought an H110 board and no where on the motherboard page told me about its compatibility with RAM, but it turns out when i got it and looked in the manual, the maximum bus speed was 2133mhz! It automatically tuned it down... Never actually used this RAM.
