Very good ram for the money. Corsair we wanted was not made anymore but still have ads everywhere. Once we found that out we searched and this is as good for less money. These are for some for our editing machines.Time is money and we get good ram.

If you dont already have one consider looking for something with a higher refresh rate. These will work and they work fine for my 2700x but the speed is less than ideal.

RAM in general is easy to install, but the difficult part I had was the directions it faced. Quick trial and error and figured it out. No need for installation of software. Up and running in just a few minutes.

Solid, fast, low profile.

ram has returned to sane prices. in 2015 i built a new skylake system and only put 16gb in it, figuring i would in a year or so, add in another 16gb and have 32gb. oh buddy, that is when ram prices decided to go insane and i quietly made my 16gb work out the best i could. i have decided to upgrade my system, since there was nothing wrong with the 16gb kit i had, i ordered another one. Ironically for a little less thani paid for it in 2015 cause of artificially inflated prices over the last few years of price fixing done by the memory companies.

Had serious problems with my old setup that Ive had for a decade, crashes and rebooted on its own.. Bought an Asus motherboard and Ryzen 5 CPU.. Ordered 16gb (2x8gb) as a start up. Ran that for two weeks then ordered 16gb (2x8gb) more for a fully populated motherboard of 32gb ram. I do photo editing with Affinity Photo and video editing with Magix, system is running very smooth and Im very happy. Im not a power gamer so I cant comment on that aspect. But for power applications the ram seams to be doing fine.

Performance is top notch as to be expected from Corsair Vengeance memory.

I cant believe that I actually got a bad stick out of the box. Amazon to the rescue for a refund but still, lame.
