Bought this set for my new build. AMD R7 3700x and TUF GAMING X570 motherboard. Unfortunately, I couldnt get them to reach the advertised speed of 3600 MHz. Bumping up voltage didnt help. Lowering speed to 3400 MHz also dint help. Only good thing I can say about those is RGB lighting is pretty good. Nice and vibrant colours and decent software to manage your lighting effects (iCUE). Just keep in mind you need to download a plug in to manage the RGB in Aura sync. Will be returning to Amazon for refund.

I needed an upgrade since the last time I did a major PC upgrade was nearly 9 years ago. I chose Corsair because it accomplished several criteria off of my checklist. First priority was the RAM, in order to process my photos through photoshop, I needed lots of RAM. For the price I was able to purchase 64Gb to accommodate the process, second was the aesthetics. When I did my PC build, I decided to go with RGBs and this complemented my overall scheme with other Corsair components. Lastly, I want to overclock my PC and have the ability to do it. Great job Corsair! Im a true and loyal brand follower.

RAM works well and gives me the advertised speeds once set in the BIOS.
