> 3 dayI was told by HP that my Omen motherboard would not support RGB lighting. That was true with a number of other brands, but with the iCue software, these modules are fully customizable. They also run at the full 3600 Mhz on my Ryzen 7-3700x.

> 3 dayIt works great. But, if youre an adult or you sleep in a room with your computers on, the LEDs are seriously way too much. The corsair software that lets you define their appearances is at best as questionable as any other OEM oddball software, and in my experience they eventually revert into chaotic annoying color changing cycles.

> 3 dayI bought 2x16GB at 3600MHz, moving up from 2 8GB sticks at 2400MHz. On some select games Im seeing an increase in performance after configuring it in Bios. The extra capacity is helpful for productivity and future-proofing, and the lighting is fantastic. Its controlled through corsairs icue software, each stick has ten individually customisable lights that blend into one another, and in addition to standard profile control the RAM can store one colour profile for when icue is not running or the computer is in sleep state.

Greater than one weekI picked up a 2x16GB kit of DDR4-3600 to replace an old G.Skill 4x8GB kit of DDR4-3000 after upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5800x. After a bit of forum-hopping, I found out that Corsair tends to bin their RAM for their high-speed kits, and once they have enough to fill out their high-end product stack, they use the remaining stock to fill out their lower-speed SKUs. It seemed like the best choice, since most 3800MT/s kits are in the $250+ range.
