Bad ass RAM, expensive but dope. Also very customizable.

Installed ram into motherboard, machine booted up with no problems, but when running ram diagnostics one of the banks was identified as a wrong part number, thought maybe the program was buggy, but instead it was a defective device. it ran fine for a little over three months and then finally crapped out, machine would no longer boot [Dec 26, 2017. Product warranty through Amazon is expired, But it has a lifetime warranty with Corsair. Guess ill have to contact Corsair for a replace part.

Long story short: one DIMM arrived DOA, I know these are electrical components and the chances to this situation to happen are very high and normal. The good one is working flawless as expected !!

Decided to splash out a little extra on RGB RAM and was pleasantly surprised as I half expected the chassis of these sticks to be plastic from the images, but have a nice metal exterior and completely compatible and work well with the Mystic Lights app from MSI, even if the app itself is a bit rubbish
