29-03-2025The memory performs well enough that I dont have to think about it. It overclocks without error using XMP. If you want to go further, Im sure you can although stability is more important to me. I havent had any issues with it although I noticed a significant thermal increase when all eight of my slots were filled. This is not an issue with the memory, it is just something I observed. The programmable LEDs are bright and colorful, and many nice animations are included with the Corsair iCue software. Or you can create them yourself.

Greater than one weekMake sure to use XMP in Bios and make sure they are running at full speed if using AMD. Excellent performance. LEDs are beautiful and the background rainbow cycle is mesmerizing--my favorite part of my build

> 3 dayQuality Control on these DIMMs is AWFUL. Ive now not received only one, but TWO bad kits. The first kit (the one Im currently using) is finnicky and chooses when it feels like working. LEDs only stay synced, or even work, about 60% of the time. Its not my motherboard as Ive used both Dominator Platinum DIMMs and Hyper X DIMMs. The second kit (that I wanted to replace to first since I expected the first to work 100% correctly) was COMPLETELY DOA. System wouldnt even boot, only gave blue screens referencing bad MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and corrupt files (caused by bad hardware); since my system worked prior to the second set (at least some of the time) and 100% of the time with the Dominator Platinums, this made it plainly obvious that the new (second set) of DIMMs was the problem. Dominator Platinums were split between two of my other systems...in retrospect, I wish I would have just went with 4x8 of those. This issue has costed me in working capacity over the last 2 weeks. Truthfully, Im hoping that I can work something out with Amazon or Corsair, because this item is the SINGLE WORST purchasing experience Ive had on Amazon in over 5 years.
