Recently went on a commuter flight where all our bags carry on bags were gate checked. Was very happy for the grip pad for there was another bag IDENTICAL to mine on the same flight. Fortunately, the other commuter realized this instantly. In the past, Ive had gate checked bags taken by others. This is truly a gem to have!
