Works to charge the PSP-2001 Star Wars edition just fine. It does not however run the system without a battery installed. It should, though, according to the manufacturer. I think it lacks the proper voltage. Also, fits a little lose and will unplug very easily. Feels very light and cheap. Worth what I paid though.

Very disappointed that the connector does not properly fit into the PSP power jack. It’s too long and the barrel center is too narrow. I almost broke my PSP power jack having to almost force to fit. Had to throw it away. Do NOT buy this product!!

Doesnt fit as well as name brand, but it does the job

It works. It charges the device. However, the charger is very cheaply constructed. It feels like a toothpick. The 2 pronged lead cable does not stay in the brick and constantly slides out. I would strongly recommend looking for a used genuine Sony charger on eBay.
