Cotton Weekender Travel Bag

I like the pattern, the quality is good. It’s a good size. I would not want to take it for traveling on a plane or anywhere I’d have to put it on the floor. The bottom is cloth and could get worn, wet or dirty. Wish there was a little reinforcer on the bottom for this reason. Otherwise it’s nice.

I absolutely love this bag. I use it when I travel as my purse/personal item for air travel. It has a sleeve to put over the carryon handle, and it keeps the bag in place.

Read multiple reviews watched several YouTube videos on this size bag vs the Grand Weekender. This one is a very good sized valise. It held two days of clothes, a pair of dress shoes, make up, computer and an E-reader. I also had room to pack in a crossbody handbag. The strap drop on the attached straps is long enough to carry the bag over the shoulder or you can use the detachable shoulder strap. I used the weekender for a trip to NYC. It fit well under the airline seats in coach class. You could probably overstuff the bag to fit four days of clothing if you roll pack clothing, but it would be heavy.

This is really pretty and sturdy. Really love this. It’s easy to carry and has room for everything.

The ribbon zipper pulls are a stiff ribbon and do not say Vera Bradley on them like all my other Vera bags also there is no Vera Bradley tag on the bag . Does not feel like the plush quality Vera bags of the past ! I will be returning , not worth the price point .

This is a gorgeous weekender thats just right for carrying what you need without being too heavy. It easily slides on top of a carry-on suitcase as a personal item. Mesh pockets inside make it easy to organize the interior of the bag.

Ive had several different Vera Bradley totes and bags over the years, but this is my first time with the Weekender Travel Bag. This is a great bag. I truly feel that it could accommodate almost everything I would need for a weekend. Im not sure I would be able to get all of my toiletries and my hair dryer brush in it, but I could probably get some of it. It could definitely hold all of my clothes and a pair of shoes without a doubt. The bag is not only beautiful, but its durable too. I love the recycled cotton. The rainforest canopy print is cheery and summery. The large main compartment has mesh pockets on the sides. There are sturdy handles as well as an adjustable shoulder strap. There are some outer zippered pockets, too. All zippers glide easily. There are ribbon tabs on them which make it easy to grasp. The bottom has firm plastic piece that can be removed that gives support to the bag. Overall, its a lovely bag and will be perfect for traveling!

Ive always loved Vera Bradley products, and I certainly own my fair share of them, but Ive never ordered so many pieces from a single pattern!  So far, I have 26 pieces from this Rain Forest Canopy collection, but thats only a fraction of the 95 items currently offered in this pattern.  You will certainly be able to find the exact size and style you are looking for if you select this pattern.

I love Vera Bradleys duffle bags. This one is excellent-- nice and roomy-- some good-sized pockets, and the zipper is smooth. The other bags I have of hers are solid and non-quilted. But, when I saw this, I thought-- okay, maybe its time to get a quilted Vera Bradley bag! I do like it. I like that its not a purse, and I do like the fabric, though its very beachy looking-- the colors are kind of tropical, so I can see taking this to the beach or using it like that.
