My two year old loves these eggs. They are a great puzzle to practice shapes and colors. We also can use them in the play kitchen as a food item.

18 month old enjoys taking the eggs apart. Can put together most of them — some, like the heart, are difficult so it will be a toy he can continue enjoying as he gets a little older. Enjoys placing the eggs in the ‘carton’. Lots of opportunities for exposing him to colors, shapes, texture. Well made toy. Not a child who puts things in his mouth so I can’t speak on the safety issue.
