A classic memory book with lovely prompts. I like that its not a cartoonish theme yet captures the essence of young childhood/infancy. Sturdy pages and cover; it looks like a tweed material with stitches but its not...still looks good though! Each month (1-12) has a page for reflection and each each birthday (1-5) does as well. Dislike the baby shower pages saying who brought what, but either leave blank or be vague if youd prefer. Pages for vaccines, tooth arrivals, height/weights taken, etc. Recommend it!

After searching book stores and online, I decided that this would be the one for our new granddaughter. It arrived while I was visiting and my very particular daughter liked it enough to say, You made a good choice! It includes many 1st year pages for those important firsts and enough pages to add highlights for the next few years. Any page you choose not to use (no shower?) can be covered with photos.

This is the best First 5 Years Memory Book that I have seen in YEARS. It comes close to the Seven Year Baby Book that was given to us when our first child was born. He is now 46, and I returned it to him this Christmas. I hope that this new family will put as much love into Gibsons book, as I did. It will always be a treasure.
