I was thinking about that trivet for a while and there was always something on my way of doing that. Finally, I was ready. I got the right fabric, right thread and voila - I have a poinsettia trivet! I will make a couple more, for sure.

Love the way the fabric is packaged, on a mini bolt. Keeps it nice and smooth. Fabric has a nice feel and pretty dark pink color (they call it Magenta). Am going to use this for accent squares, binding and (if I have enough) background on a throw. I weighed a 5 square of this fabric, an unbranded fabric and a M--da fabric. They all weighed the same. I do not aniticpate any issues with shrinkage or colors running. I like that you get 3 yards, enough to actually do something with it. Lots of choices of colors too. Would definitely order again.

This cotton is so soft and beautiful. It was also packaged very nicely on a cardboard bolt tied with ribbon. Such a lovely surprise. I’ll order again for sure!

Im really happy with this fabric for the most part. The magenta is a gorgeous shade and the ivory lets white embroidery thread pop nicely in contrast. The presentation of these mini-style bolts is super-cute and would make adorable gifts, with each bolt tied in ribbon and wrapped in a protective plastic layer. Its about the width of a standard bolt but is folded over a second time to make a more compact and easy to store package. The material has a nice, even weave and feels pleasantly smooth... a little too smooth, compared to the fabric I normally work with. For my Brother frame, it has to be hooped aggressively for involved and complicated designs. Ive found either two tear-away sheets or a tear-away and cut-away work best as the rougher tear-away texture helps keep the fabric from wandering. Either way, the weaving holds up pretty well under stitch-heavy designs; included is a comparison on ivory between tear-away versus cut-away. These bolts seem ideal for quilting or small-scale clothing projects. While its not really intended for dense embroidery designs it holds up well and the colors make for a great canvas.

This fabric is beautiful. The quality is wonderful. It feels so soft, not scratchy. It comes on a mini bolt, which is so nice and convenient. I purchased the red and green for Christmas projects. I cant wait to get started!

The silver is a really pretty color. The finish is very even. I ironed some of it and the iron glided nicely and made a very smooth surface. I plan on using it for a lining on a tote bag. See how the color blends the main fabric of periwinkle with the gray vinyl trim. I used my good fabric scissors to cut the pieces and it cut quickly.
