Came all the way off twice.. Second time the spoil unwound and that was the end of it...

Not a bad price for what seems sturdy and some nice design features. I take issue with the of length of the body, its heft and maybe 4ft standout before it bends and/or twists. Probably fine for most casual and short distance measurements.

Great, sturdy, and reliable tape measure! Doesnt break like those flimsy ones.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for Hubby. After literally the first use the rigidity was gone. After a couple more uses the tape is breaking at the 1 1/2 mark. This tape measure was only used indoors to measure cabinets, so there was certainly no abuse. A sad, sad statement for a Craftsman tool.
