> 24 hourGood pliers but the quality is not that good. Haven’t really used them much but will this summer when I start welding and doing wood projects and working on cars.

> 24 hourThese are some of the better locking pliers you can get anymore, without going to the premium (quality and priced) brands like Grip--On or Knipex. Id say they are very, very close overall to the original Vise-Grip brand. I would say that Id put them in between the USA made Peterson Vise-Grips, and the ones they now import from China. Heft and feel are about equal, as is the locking release mechanism. The hardness of the jaws is what Im going by with my ranking. They seem slightly better than the China Vise-Grips, but not quite what the ones made in Nebraska were. These were a little cheaper than the import Vise-Grip brand, so Id consider them a decent value.

> 24 hourOthers said the same thing, but I was hoping to get lucky... Shame on you, Crescent! Youre supposed to be one of the vanguard tool companies, but this is just more cheap foreign garbage. Ive used them twice now, and the needle-nose pliers quickly shift off-axis, whereupon they fall right off the object (in my case, the classic drum brake tension spring). The little red plastic piece on the locking lever split and started walking off the other set small parrot-like pliers. Both had rough lock engagements, just like the cheap ones I already had in my tool kit. I bought these because locking pliers are one of those last-ditch tools youre probably using when things have already hit the fan. At that moment, you want quality gear that will get the job done before things get worse. These pliers wont be that gear. Theyre just more cheap rubbish.

> 24 hourQuality Control never checked to see if the Jaw would open up on the Biggest Pair ! Had to beat It a lot to make it loosen up . Still isnt good but not to the point of returning It .. NEVER had to work on a NEW Vice-Grip when They were MADE in America .. says China , only on the Packaging ...

> 24 hourNo negatives on these. It was a great price for a quality set. I’m confident they will last a lifetime.

> 24 hourAS MENTIONED NOT QUITE THE QUALITY OF ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS BUT FOR THEY PRICE THEY DO WHAT I NEED THEM TO DO WITHOUT HAVING TO DAMAGE MY SNAP ON OR ORIGINAL VISE GRIPS. MAINLY USED FOR WELDING, JUNK YARD TRIPS OR ANYTHING THAT REQIRES GRIPPED AND THE HAMMERED. EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION. ONCE AGAIN, FOR THE PRICE YOULL FIND NONE BETTER.
