> 24 hourOver the past few years, Ive used all sorts of smart plugs, light bulbs, LED bands and other things.I happen to have a smart Living app and another brand of light bulb installed on my phone.This is a piece of cake!The first thing I used a plug for was our inkjet printer.Its light is bright, which is a little inconvenient at night, but I also want to make sure its on every day so I can wirelessly print it when I need it.I connected one of the plugs to the printer so I could set a simple schedule of turning on the printer in the morning and turning it off at night.
Set-up with CRESTIN:
- Scan the QR code in User Manual, sign up/in your CRESTIN account.
- Select "+" icon and "Electrical outlet"
- Tap "Confirm indicator rapidly blink" and enter your home Wi-Fi Password.
- Wait for it connecting successfully.
NOTICE: Only Supports 2.4Ghz WiFi, so if your WiFI is not 5Ghz, you need to adjust it to 2.4Ghz.
HOW TO ADJUST THE WIFI?
Log in to your router"s administration backend on your computer or cell phone and change the network frequency to 2.4Ghz via SSID.
If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, but only one Wi-Fi name is displayed on your cell phone"s Wi-Fi search page, please perform the following steps.
1. Go to the router"s wireless page. (The entrance address is usually provided on the label on the back of the router).
2. Go to the 2.4GHz settings page and set the Wi-Fi name (SSID) to XXX-2.4G, where xxx indicates the Wi-Fi name. Save the settings.
3. Go to the 5GHz settings page and set the Wi-Fi name (SSID) to XXX-5G, where xxx indicates the Wi-Fi name. Save the settings.
4. When the previous settings are finished, the new Wi-Fi name will appear on the Wi-Fi settings page of your phone.
Note: After changing the Wi-Fi name, you need to reconnect the device that uses this wireless router. If the password has not been changed, it will remain the same.
Finally, open the Smart Life App, reset your device, and add your smart products.
