First off it works way better than what I had before, the Cricut mini iron. That said having to create an account and download an app to use what is essentially AN IRON is ridiculous and inequitable. If you get this and don’t have internet connection you can’t set it up to use it! Not just the fancy auto settings, but the iron itself. It’s a data harvesting/ planned obsolescence technique I hope doesn’t catch on. If Cricut goes out of business or decides not to update this app or support this device, future owners will discover they can’t use it and it will end up in the landfill.

Item doesn’t explain that this is 1 of 3 other items you need to create the desired printed material For a beginner like myself - based on the description I thought I bought a machine to help me make logos in the hat. After I plugged it in - I saw that I needed a heat transfer material where the logo goes and then I needed a machine to cut this material and or printer - a total of 500-600$ I called the company and I was told once you opened the box the item is not returnable - asked for a manager and they didn’t provide one saying this is what it is - bad customer service - I do not understand how they present a false advertising about the product and then they don’t accept returns - On the other hand the machine looks nice - good idea but a ripp off … 160$ for an iron ? Nah bro, I can use my target iron that I bought 16 $ For a company that appears to be so successful so strange that they don’t provide return for their false advertised product

Definitely worth it I purchased a 300 dollar hat press and was totally disappointed and had to return it bought this I’m totally satisfied with the quality it comes with everything you need and it’s easy to store my hats came out great and if you want to make some hats for yourself or give as gifts this is the hat press to buy don’t look any further buy this one

Would not get hot enough to press on vinyl securely. Even held it on longer and kept repeating process

Easy to use...plug and play! We have done a couple of hats that turned out terrific!
