I have seen some crazy reviews, so I will say right off the bat, you have to seat this properly and, the first time you use a different blade with your Cricut, you will have a slight user learning curve. It cant be seated too high when you close the carrier and it cant be pushed all the way down or your Cricut wont read it. I did have the stylus but wanted this for thicker cardstock and I am SO GLAD I did it!! This scores more deeply and I love it! Plus, you have the quick-swap housing for other blades.

So bought it as an extra as a back in case I lost my original piece

This works fantastic for all the scoring jobs for cricut. Makes folding heavy card stock soooo much easier. Well worth the money to have projects look professionally done.

We got a Maker recently and this is a must have addition for making custom cards. The duel tip set opens the world to heavier materials like leather. I know I was wondering what a duel wheel did when I was shopping. As for use, the machine will let you know when to swap tools.
