These are cricut mats . They were as I expected .I was very happy with the lower pricetag.

I use them when I need a strong grip when they are new and use them when I need less of a grip when I get old. Also I use awesome spray with the scraper to clean them and they get tackier after that. I usually can keep my mats for over a few months using the awesome spray from dollar tree.

Just used my new mat one time cutting out light cardstock. I used the cricut spatula to help lift the cardstock off the mat after cutting and it scrapes off the top layer of the mat (see white stuff in picture). This has never happened with my other cricut mats. Disappointed in the cricut products lately, starting to be made cheaply. The price we pay for some of the cricut accessories is expensive so you would think the products would be good.

Not sold yet on the New & Improved Mat. I was cutting some Cricut Glitter Paper with a new Cricut Blade and a Brand New Cricut Mat (With the correct Cricut setting on my machine) thinking that everything would be like a new machine and was disappointed when I went to take the cutting off. The paper stuck bad to the mat and when I went to scrape it with the scraping tool it appears to have taken off some of the layers on the mat.

I could smell how strong they were as soon as I took the protective sheet off. I went ahead and used them anyway and soon regretted it. If youre sensitive to chemicals, you NEED to put these outside to air them out before using them!! I kept mine outside for about a week and after that they werent as bad.
