> 3 dayIm new to Cricut and I have a weird aversion to things that dont match, so when I saw that they made a set of all gold accessories to match the champaign/gold Cricut Maker I just bought, I knew that was the set for me. I found this set originally at Jo-Ann Fabrics and as an expert sewer and crafter with a masters degree in sewing and design, I wanted to avoid Jo-Anns if I could (for a multitude of reasons). Amazon had this set much cheaper and prime shipping. Anyway, this set did arrive in all gold as pictured (I do not know why the description of this item says it will not be the gold set) and its beautiful. Everything seems to be great quality and exactly what I need. The only exception, and the reason for my 4/5 star review, is the scissors. The cover included for the scissors is nice so it does not scratch my machine when I put it in the attached tool cup holder, but these scissors are hardly sharp enough to cut much of anything. Of course Ill keep them (they match my set!) but I will need another pair of scissors in my desk drawer to use most of the time with my Cricut because these barely work.

> 3 dayThe trimmer is good. The tools are marginal. Scissors - Bad - You would think that they would be sharp enough to cut vinyl, right? Wrong. I trashed them and bought some Fiskars from Joanns on sale 50% off with coupon. The Weeder tool - Bad - not very sharp. I purchased an exacto knife...you know, the pencil that has a pointy razor blade on it? It works way better and way less expensive. The Scraper - Bad - I doesnt have a flat edge and its not very smooth. I was afraid to use it because it could scratch the vinyl. Spatula? Ehhh, I could live without it. Im a newbie Cricut owner and in my opinion, coming from the company who makes this machine, you would think that they would want you to have better quality tools, right? You can do better, Cricut!
