Cricut Washable Fabric Pen

PATRICIA
> 24 hourIt works fine for short projects but there isn’t enough ink. It runs out very quickly. For the price for one pen I can buy at least three. I actually bought a set of 12 fabric pens for about $2 more when this one ran out. I am very satisfied with those. To own a Cricut is to resign yourself to a pricy hobby, but I expect a little better quality for that pricing.

> 24 hourI had been dying to try this out and so this was just me kind of screwing around to hurry and get a design in there to see how it worked. Worked great! I wanted it for embroidery patterns and trying to learn how to make my own patterns n all of that stuff with the cricut air explore 2 machine! When I make more I will definitely add photos in here and update if necessary! I forget what fabric this is exactly but I can try to find out and add it here :)

> 24 hourIve used a lot of these type of pens for 20+ years. I use these exclusively for my cross stitch, so typically aida-type cloth. It was more expensive, so I was surprised to see the felt tip pen common to the run-of-the-mill pen at the big box stores. It was a relatively thick line, so if you were using tiny gauge cloth it woudnt work well. I used this to free draw the outline of my state, and then place a message of block letters inside the state ouline. I was horrified that after about a week of hard work, when I went to rinse out my finished product that it didnt want to dissolve! I added a little laundry soap, nothing.... well, except make my red block letters run like crazy.... I did what I thought I could, and there were a few faint lines remaining..... however as it sat after blotting, I noticed that *eventually* all the lines were gone. For my money, I would stick to the cheaper model as its the EXACT SAME PRODUCT! And yes, the felt tip pens tend to dry out completely in a couple of months..... there is a hard ceramic fine-tip pen that I used to use that didnt dry out.....
