    Great if you need to power up fans with ac adapter instead of USB. I used two Noctua fans on a laptop cooler pad powered by an ac adapter and it does the job perfectly.

This cable allows you to power up to two PC 3-pin and 4-pin fans with a conventional DC power supply. The input socket is designed to be compatible with the most common 5.5mm ID 2.1mm OD DC barrel plug, and the output fan connectors are designed to be compatible with both 3-pin and 4-pin fan connectors.
