> 24 hourMy son bought this to use with his custom 3d-printed laptop cooler/stand (designed/built/printed himself). He ran two 120mm fans off of it and it worked great. No issues with the USB port or the fans when using the cable.

> 24 hourThere are a couple of comments re frail materials/build on this one, while I can see whats being referred to, and yes, the join on the fan connection end could be better finished, I really cant see where this would cause a problem with normal use. After all you should be treating any cabling gently and well. A USB 3 connection fired the PWM12 fan up and it certainly cooled the object(s) in its path!

> 24 hourThis is probably just a cable with a micro buck boost installed in the cable housing, but its perfect for testing fans and/or using it to power up a spare fan for a desktop cooling device. Only thing Id knock is the price.

> 24 hourIve pugged this into several different charging blocks. Works great, awesome for testing fan motors. I bought it to use in a soldering vent setup, keep using it to test computer fans.

> 24 hourPurchased CRJ Full Speed 12V Voltage Step-Up USB to 3-Pin and 4-Pin PC Fan Sleeved Power Adapter Cable for testing and powering 12V fans. Adapter is made of high-quality materials and is easy to use. Works perfectly for testing 12V, 2 to 4 pin fans. Highly recommended!!!

> 24 hourThis was exactly what i needed to repurpose an old tower desktop fan. The fan was still great, it just needed that bridge from 3-pin to USB. That being said, as everyone mentioned, this is just a two pin setup. But the fans ran as soon as I hooked them up and plugged them in to a USB outlet or a plugin adapter. This will run the fans at full speed and you will get a fair amount of breeze. Perfect for how i wanted to use this to cool additional electronics.

> 24 hourI bought this to use with a 12 volt dehumidifying telescope fan. It works as expected and the fan runs at full speed.
