> 24 hourI bought two of these to upgrade my HP Elitebook 745 G4 so I was able to get my laptop to 32 GB of RAM to handle all the office apps I have to run. 16 GB was not enough and windows 10 was compressing memory making things incredibly slow and unresponsive. Now with two of these sticks the system flies. The unfortunate part is that HP only allows the memory to run at 1866 MHz so Im leaving some performance on the table but hey what can you do. BTW HP claims that this laptop can only go up to 16 GB. That is not true. It can handle 32 and windows sees and can use all of it (- the graphics mem). Its just that 16 GB was the max configuration HP sold the laptop with. So if you have an HP Elitebook 745 G4 you can use two of these to bring it up to 32GB

> 24 hourSo far so good. Needed more ram for protools it was running at 100% with more than 70 tracks and plugins. The 8gb weren’t helping me out and I needed to freeze most of the tracks with all the plugins. Now it’s at 27% and ready for even more plugins lol. I also have a rx5700 in a gpu encloser which helps as well.

> 24 hourIm using one stick of this in a thin-mini ITX motherboard that uses SO-DIIMM for RAM and it works perfectly! The motherboard recognises it without having to do anything else in the BIOS.
