Stuck this in a Dell 5490 that had gone out of warranty to take from 8gb to 16gb, easy to install (more thanks to the ease of opening Dell business laptops than the RAM) worked a treat on reboot and now faster

My 2 year old Dell Inspiron laptop came with windows 8 and worked just fine for about 2 weeks then it updated to Windows 10 and has been a brick ever since... constantly freezing, 5-10 minute browser load time and so on. Have sent it to Dell 4 times over the last 2 years (warranty) with only short lived improvement then back to the same old thing. Watched a YouTube video and they suggested upgrading the ram to 16gb. Bought these 2 sticks and a installed myself.

Made my laptop a better runner. Its worth the 20 minutes to install.

Worked flawlessly in the Alienware 17 R3 laptop, doubled my original Ram capacity.

I am using 8GB Ram 2133 MHz with this 8GB Ram 2400 MHz and both are working very well due to clock overlocking. Great Product.

Works as expected - no complaints about the product, shipping, or installation. My complaint is with hardware in general - computers dont recognize two different RAM sizes.
